Erika is a senior research analyst at Breckinridge. In her role, she performs municipal credit analysis and leads data science integration efforts for the municipal credit team. Erika also contributes to Breckinridge’s thematic and sustainable product offerings and is a member of the Proxy Committee. She has been with the firm since 2021 and has over three years of industry experience. Erika has a background in water resources engineering and environmental policy and has written several peer-reviewed journal articles on topics ranging from climate risk pricing in the municipal bond market to the affordability of water services in the U.S. Prior to Breckinridge she was a water resources engineer based out of Boulder, Colorado. She holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Penn State University and a M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Colorado State University. Erika also holds a PhD. in environmental policy, with a focus on water utilities and the municipal bond market, from Duke University.
